Are there any Army Reserve units looking for another troop?

I recently joined the IRR,not entirely by choice. During the hiring process there was a conflict of interest between my civilian employer (DoD) and maintaining military obligations. I would like to come out of IRR if there is a unit willing to work with me. I will be living in Japan until October. However I have been assured that I have the support of Delta Detachment , 1st Space command in Misawa, Japan and support from the reserve unit at Camp Zama, Japan for APFT, weapons qualification and any other requirements. I am 12B looking for either schools *airborne, Ranger ect* or reclass to 35L. I don`t care as much for the money bonuses.

Look into the IMA program. It’s very flexible and easier to manage with your civilian employer.

If you work for the federal government, there is no conflict of interest concerning your military obligations. I’m employed by the federal government (VA) and I receive 120 hours of military time to fulfill my obligations. I believe that this is pretty much the standard for all federal entities.
