SPC Carrie Cates 985569 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My mother's house has become unfit to live in and in need of extensive repairs. She has had to live in a motel because of this. She is disabled and lives only on SSI ($700/mon). That really only covers the room. I live too far away to be of much help physically except for a week or two long stay once a year. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I don't know about benefits but you could reach out to the local American Legion or VFW and they might be able to offer some help. It might not be financial assistance but they are always willing to help out with volunteers. If they don't help please let me know.
