Soldier, joint unit, naval base, limited opportunities from what I see. Any suggestions on schools, online or resident courses. All assistance is appreciated. Are there any schools from other branches of service I can attend while stationed in Bahrain within a joint unit? 2025-10-19T14:02:41-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 9034139 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;m looking to stay proactive in my career for a short tour I&#39;m currently assigned. Explain that - are you looking to build up promotion points? Are you looking to get certifications in something? Are you looking to expand your knowledge base in some aspect of logistics? Etc.<br /><br />A generic approach is to go to the COOL website*, plug in your MOS (shortcut is <a target="_blank" href="https://www.cool.osd.mil/army/moc/index.html?moc=92a">https://www.cool.osd.mil/army/moc/index.html?moc=92a</a>), and then explore the various certifications and training available.<br /><br />Explore what&#39;s available through the Army Training Network*, which serves as central link into the various official Army training sites (DTMS, CATS, SULT, etc.)<br /><br />However, first and foremost you need to figure out the &quot;why&quot; of what you&#39;re doing, otherwise you&#39;re just doing something for the sake of doing something, which may be a completely ineffective method in achieving whatever your goals are.<br />--------------------------<br />* Army Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (COOL) - <a target="_blank" href="https://www.cool.osd.mil/army/index.html">https://www.cool.osd.mil/army/index.html</a><br />* Army Training Network - <a target="_blank" href="https://atn.army.mil/">https://atn.army.mil/</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="https://www.cool.osd.mil/army/moc/index.html?moc=92a)">Army COOL</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description"></p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> Response by COL Randall C. made Oct 19 at 2025 7:57 PM 2025-10-19T19:57:22-04:00 2025-10-19T19:57:22-04:00 SFC Stephen Everett 9034856 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes, you can see the Education Counselor for advice which would help you toward your career especially, promotion points.
