Are there any service members or veterans who had an Entry Level Separation and went through boot twice? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/are-there-any-service-members-or-veterans-who-had-an-entry-level-separation-and-went-through-boot-twice <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My name is LeRoss Sawin-Porter. 2 years ago I was a recruit in the United States Marine Corps. I had been placed in PCP due to failing my pullups. Normally, if youre discharged from boot for somethong like failing a PT test or being overweight, the answer is simple: Get in weight, get as fit as possible, and find a prior service recruiter who isn&#39;t going to be annoyed at the fact that you didn&#39;t bother to properly train yourself the first time around. However, I didn&#39;t recieve my ELS for failure to adapt. My boots were a size too small, and I had requested new ones from my Senior Drill Instructor who wouldn&#39;t let me be issued new ones until I was medically cleared to do so. When I went to get medically cleared, I was hit with a bombshell. I have bunions in both feet, which is a disqualifying condition. You can&#39;t imagine the dissapointment I felt after being on Parris Island for a near month and being in the DEP for so long to have heard that I shouldn&#39;t have been allowed to enlist in the first place. I haven&#39;t really been the same since. I mean, I&#39;m not going to lie. I miss it there. Everything was ordered. I loved putting on those cammies in the mornings and feeling like I was a part of something beautiful. I can understand that some servicemembers and veterans won&#39;t think too highly that I failed my IST, But i believed I was on the path to re joining training and becoming a Marine. Many of my buddies got back into training and a few were heavier than I was. Is there anyone else who recieved an ELS and misses boot? Are there any current service members or veterans who recieved an ELS and were allowed to enlist?
