K9 Handler is a separate MOS now that you can sign up for with your recruiter. Protective Service Details and usually just assignments. SWAT is called SRT (Special Reaction Team) and is just an extra school that you can go to, like Airborne.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes, there are different parts of a detachment where you can try to get in, there is Military Police Investogations, Traffic Section, 31K dog handler, SRT (SWAT) and then you could always apply for CID but that’s not 31B.

Everything else is an ASI (traffic accident investigation, military police investigator, CID, force protection). I&#39;m sure I&#39;m missing a few, but you get the point. Also, 31E and 31K may have additional ASI&#39;s that I&#39;m not familiar with.
