Are there any USMC Reserve Units in Florida?

Good Morning! I’m writing today in hopes that a fellow Devil Dog can help me out. I’m trying to figure out if Florida has any Military Police Reserve Units?

I’m trying to re-enlist and hopefully someone knows a good recruiter in my area as well.

I get that you're a Marine and that I'm a Coastie replying to your question when you asked for only Marines to reply. But I'm an old Senior Chief so I'm going to open my mouth anyway haha! I'm just trying to help you out. I just wanted to make sure that you were aware of two things for your planning purposes.
1. I noticed a news article that the USMC is going to cut back on the number of military police MOS billets and that the MOS might be eventually phased out. Of course you need to look at the official USMC messages and directives about this and/or or talk to a recruiter to verify if this is correct and that it applies to reserve forces as well.
2. Florida is Coast Guard country. There are a whole lot of Coast Guard units in Florida that deal with law enforcement and port security, etc. You might even find a reserve billet that you think is "cooler" than what you did in the USMC haha! You may have to go to a short three week Coast Guard boot camp for prior service personnel. Of course the basic benefits/pay/retirement are the same for all branches of the military. Talk to a Coast Guard recruiter and see what they have to offer you. No matter what you'll always be a Marine whether you're in a USMC reserve billet or a USCG reserve billet. There are many Marines that are (or have been) regular Coast Guard or Coast Guard Reserve members.

I believe there are some USMCR units in Jacksonville, but I don't know details. probably aviation or logistics related
