Are there organizations that help unemployed or underemployed veterans for the Holidays?

LORD yes!  You can reach out to Wounded Warrior Project (unsure of your status), Operation Home Front, Veteran's Administration, Samaritan's Purse, Operation Toy Drop, Army Reserve-Family programs, Salvation Army, Goodwill.  These places have a lot of programs under them that "sponsor" military families during the holidays.  Also Christmas Angel programs  as well.  I would also suggest if you know any local churches, drop the family's name in the hat, the family may also get a sponsor there as well.  I recently had a friend seeking advice about an underprivileged family.  I told her start an Event on facebook and set a time for it.  People donated tons.....  My suggestion, put the word out.. there are always people wanting to help, they just don't know who/how to help or who needs it most.   Good luck!

The newly formed Rocky Mountain Veterans Village Foundation in Colorado Springs putting are putting together a program to assist underemployed veterans throughout their transition. It is going slow but it is going. This is not a hand out. It is a hand up. Their commitment will be their fuel for success.

You are a true warrior. Falling down is easy. Getting back up is hard but rewarding.
We are in motion to build our first veterans village ranch in Colorado Springs. Right behind that, is a plan to go nation wide.
