<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My command told me that if you sign back in from leave before 1700 on a duty day that the day will not be counted and you have to return to work that same day. I've read through AR 600-8-10 as well as the post policy on leaves and passes but can't find that information anywhere.Fri, 16 Oct 2020 11:48:25 -0400Are there time restrictions for signing back in from leave on a duty day?

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Go with the guidance your command gives. Your leave goes through 1159hrs of the last day of your leave.CSM Chuck StaffordFri, 16 Oct 2020 12:12:29 -04002020-10-16T12:12:29-04:00Response by SP5 Peter Keane made Oct 16 at 2020 1:18 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Why would you even want to sign in on a day of leave ? Get there in the morning of the next day.SP5 Peter KeaneFri, 16 Oct 2020 13:18:55 -04002020-10-16T13:18:55-04:00Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 16 at 2020 1:21 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>unless you work night shift, it sounds like your command is basically giving you most of a day of free leave. sign back in at 1659.LTC Private RallyPoint MemberFri, 16 Oct 2020 13:21:36 -04002020-10-16T13:21:36-04:00Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 16 at 2020 1:47 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you sign in at 1500, you are no longer on leave. You will be charged .5 days of leave and will have to go in to work.SFC Private RallyPoint MemberFri, 16 Oct 2020 13:47:17 -04002020-10-16T13:47:17-04:00Response by Lt Col Jim Coe made Oct 16 at 2020 2:55 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Common sense solution: don’t sign in from leave until your unit’s duty day closes, but before midnight.Lt Col Jim CoeFri, 16 Oct 2020 14:55:11 -04002020-10-16T14:55:11-04:00Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Oct 16 at 2020 9:30 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Only ones I'm aware off were never sign out prior to 2359, and never sign in till 2359. Once you sign in- you are back on duty.SGM Bill FrazerFri, 16 Oct 2020 21:30:02 -04002020-10-16T21:30:02-04:002020-10-16T11:48:25-04:00
