Are there TIS or TiG waivers for 255A/255N? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/are-there-tis-or-tig-waivers-for-255a-255n

My goal in the army is to become a warrant officer. I meet all of the requirements, other than time in service and time in grade. Are there any waiver for that, or is it just a waiting game till i reach those benchmarks ? Thank you. I would contact wherever your proponent warrant officer is located and they should be able to give you the answer or lead you in the right direction. You should also look into 140A though, I know some 25 series are feeder MOS. The first is that you have four years of documented practical experience in information systems administration, Mission Command systems administration, Local Area Network (LAN) administration, and/or Cyber Security/Computer Network Defense (CS/CND). This practical experience can be documented through NCO evaluation reports and award citations. In some instances practical experience acquired from civilian employment may be acceptable provided the experience can be documented by employee evaluations or performance appraisals and determined to be equivalent to military experience.

Also, you must have a minimum of 36 months of rated time documented in NCOERs. This is the minimum prerequisite; all NCOERs are required for consideration. ARNG and USAR applicants may request a waiver for NCOER time, but must provide civilian performance appraisals in conjunction with their NCOERs or in lieu of not having NCOERs. There are no waivers for Active Duty applicants.

Let me know if you have any other questions and good luck SGT!
