Constituents would be outraged if the GOP did not try to stop it, but at the same time (as I've mentioned in similar questions) it is a waste of time. If the votes are already secured, we just look bad to our allies and enemies doing this. We need to figure out how to make the best of it, amend it if needed, but stopping it can no longer happen. I give 95% chance Iran will violate this agreement and all sanctions and more will kick in. This is a show me piece to the world to "present the appearance of internal cooperation ". Iran will f up, and we have X submarines with nukes and tomahawks as THE deterrent.
