I was appointed as a PBO in 1975 because 92B had not been established yet. CW4 Wally Adaway sat on my board. We were stationed together in Frankfurt. He was a W01 and did not apply for warrant until his 18th year. Warrants can stay 40 years on active. Which he did. The president of the Board was an 0-6 Veterinary Officer, and there were Warrants and other Veterinary Corp Officers in my selection board. <br /><br />Back then it was different than a promotion board, it was limited to Veterinary Corps Officers.
