Are you affected by Hurricane Joaquin? How much?

Hurricane Joaquin began to affect the east coast of the USA on Thursday evening. The eastern areas of South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and Delaware are all expected to be hit by the category 4 storm.
I hope that each of my RallyPoint contacts are safe and sound and also hope that the rest of RallyPoint members are not adversely impacted by this storm.

On Thursday night we were hit by driving wind and rain. We suffered minor damage to the house and yard. The driving rains leaked through the roof of the storage area at the back of the house and a laundry drying apparatus which had traveled from Texas to Florida to Virginia finally met its match in the heavy winds last night. We have spent much of the past few days inside.

It won't stop raining. My daughter is suffering from a bronchial infection due to the humidity. It will be interesting to see the beaver dam with these water levels

Luckily Texas in not in the path of this storm. I hope for all that are in the path of this storm are not harmed in any way.

Spouse flew down for the Navy Ball but that got pushed back to the 30th, so now that's another set of plane tickets to purchase.
