In the 2013-2014 graduating class,
34 percent were members of the U.S. military.

And though there is no official campus for Excelsior — the college is
strictly online — Excelsior has developed a strong hub in Washington, D.C.
to better reach those looking for education post-military. In recent years,
they’ve continued to release more grants and financial aid for for veterans
and their families, the most recent announcement aiding veterans interested
in earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Who knew you are an Alumni Board member and Ambassador for Excelsior? That's excellent.

We had a recent question on RallyPoint about the best vet- and military-friendly colleges. I suggested Excelsior as a good option. I'll try to find that post. If you missed it, you could certainly provide advice to the person who started the discussion.
