I enjoyed that responsibility as an NCO and I hope my NCOs share that same passion. I don't see it much, but everyone once in a blue an officer is out there working with us. Having all ranks and levels of the unit out there, makes it feel more like a complete unit, an actual team working together. It feels more like "Unit" Pt and not just "Enlisted" PT. <br />It is great to see the our Senior Enlisted SM out there high crawling and low crawling out there, but it would be better see our Officers out there. Nothing gains the trust of those that follow you, by leading by example, all the from the top to the bottom. I was the oldest person in my unit and the BN. I never stopped at the 2 mile mark. I ran 6 miles every other day. Sometimes I even ran in boots. I hated white socks, they made my feet sweat, i prefered black or OD. In the retired world, I don&#39;t buy white socks. But as the oldest in my platoon I can still score better than most Soldiers in the APFT, my knees and back cant say the same.
