As an Emergency Room medic, I saw firsthand the pluses and minuses of life. On good days, we delivered babies and monitored the progress of people making progress towards better health. On bad days, we saw the results of car accidents, fights, shooting, stabbings, spouse abuse, rape and sometimes worse. Those days were tough and had a tendency to wear you down. But somehow, I became determined to hold on to the babies being delivered and the positive influence we had on people's lives and not the stuff that brought us down. Somehow, I was able to move past the burdens and nightmares of the past traumas in the trauma room and forward into the opportunities of tomorrow. Somehow, I moved on. I only wish others could find a way to do so themselves. PTSD is the past dictating how people live their lives and I hope every day that those suffering discover the power I have over my past experiences. It is made by a veteran for veterans and does not involve the VA.

March on VeteranTM is currently under development but a large chunk of its content will be available in the next 3-4 weeks. We are looking for a select group of veterans to test a very early version of the PTSD support program.

There is NO charge. Your information will NOT be shared.

Anyone else know anything about is? I've agreed to participate because I am curious to what they are attempting to do. I have a good support system in place and come from a multigenerational family of PTSD survivors. (I really think there is something to this multigenerational aspect and would lie to see a study on it)

I think the focus is intended to be more of a Facetime/Skype/teleconference model for those who are not close to a VA but need help.
