Are you going to witness the supermoon eclipse?

This coming Sunday night there will be a lunar eclipse. This lunar eclipse is known as a supermoon eclipse because the moon will be closer to the earth in it's orbit, making it appear up to 14% larger. We will not see another eclipse like this one for 18 years. Nothing special is needed to view this eclipse.

"A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth is between the full moon and the sun. The Earth's shadow covers the moon, which often has a red color, hence the "blood" moon nickname."

it looks like I will only get a partial eclipse, but it still exciting to know that this will not occur for another 18 years

CPT Private RallyPoint Member I am sure i will see it,i do remember one in the 80's.
Full moon always seems to occur at the same time our bow season starts,i wonder how it will affect the deer?

I hope so, when I first heard about it I went to the pawn shop and picked up a little digital camera, they even set it up for me to get a shot of it, should be clear here. Now all I have to do is find the camera and remember about it. Lol, thanks to you its back in my mind and I just wrote it on the calendar, thank you for the reminder Lady.

Oh Heck Yeah! I am throwing a "Supermoon Party" with a bonfire that will be nothing but coals by 9:07 EDST. A keg too, actually just turn my keg refrigerator around from the garage wall to face out the door with a folding leg table and a trash can. I have a fresh keg of Adams Ale chillin' in the fridge and hooked up to the handle mounted through the door. Everybody is bringing "finger food", everything else will be here. So far, around 40 people have said they wouldn't miss it. I plan on taping it from start to end. It should be awesome with the moon at apogee and being so close. Gonna' be a "Super" party, C'Mon over!
