I asked my father: "What is important in life?" He responded with: "A lot of things are automatic." Its a process, you just can't dump it over night. With 6 combat tours I am going to the VA for counseling and its ongoing. Life goes on, but the military will always be with me until the end of time. Especially since I dip and dap doing reserve duty. The full lifestyle seems you can never just dump though. Its so much a part of you that you just have to learn to live. I think more awareness of these type of problems and counseling at this point is all we can really do and ask for because no matter where we are we must live/survive regardless.
