Whitey Bulger one of the more infamous Irish Mafia from South Boston. I remember being told by my father that the Irish Mafia would make the Italian Mafia look like choir boys. I thought that was BS but not so sure after reading what this guy did in Southie..

Oh I know the history. I studied the Irish in America/gang affiliation in Grad school going back to the Irish RR henchmen and the Five Points Gang in NYC. It is fascinating to me. My parents are from the old country and came to NYC in the 60s. I have family in Bawston, so I love that history as well.
I am really looking forward to seeing it. I love Johnny Depp and how he throws himself into biopics and owns the persona.
Let me know how it is if you see it. Don't tell me how it ends though. Lol.

I didn't know Whitey but his brother went to the same high school in Dorchester that I went to..He was a few year ahead of me at BC High School.so our paths never crossed ..Good thing probably with his older brother Whitey watching over him... General Dunford also went to BC High School
