However that discretion ends when PT is over. I don&#39;t think anyone will gig you for walking from your driveway to your door without it but still should follow regs. You should change into PT clothes. But if you are doing squadron PT with a specific uniform of the day, then that&#39;s what you should be wearing.<br /><br />Should you wear a cover when walking from your car to your home, of course. Perception is reality in our line of work and if someone drives by you looking like a bag of ass, than the perception is you&#39;re a bag of ass. It doesn&#39;t matter if you are at work or at home. You represent your uniform 24/7, not just when you clock in at work. While in formation, the shirt was removed, neatly folded and placed on the ground with the headgear on top.<br />I would think that something like that is still appropriate. LTC Stephen C.
