Well, I use my 10% disabled veteran's discount at Home Depot, and I do have a tendency to ask if a business does offer any discounts for veterans.

However, I think we need to be sure that we are not seeing these privileges as entitlements. It's up to the businesses to choose to honor Veterans in this manner, and it's up to us to make sure we show the proper gratitude and humility.

Yes, as a 100% service connected veteran, I am able to live a fairly comfortable lifestyle despite PTSD, etc.
