I count voting as the duty of every citizen, and I'm disappointed that 55% is considered a good turnout in a presidential election year. In "off" years, it's much worse: 38%, for example, in 2010.

I understand people who don't vote, I don't understand people who don't know who they are voting for.

I plan to be voting in the AM on my way into work. I have researched all the candidates and already have a filled out ballot that I will bring with me in the morning to copy down onto the sheet they give me.

Want to make sure I vote for the right people.

I always vote and the state of Washington makes it pretty easy with mail in ballots. I truly believe it is our civic duty to vote. I know many may think it is a waste of time especially for POTUS. But there is also to many local and state issues that will affect you to not vote. That's my belief and I'm sticking to it.

If you don't vote, you have no right to complain. Bad politicians get reelected because disgruntled voters don't vote against them.

It is my right and duty to get rid of as many bums as possible through voting. I vote my conscience, I do not follow a party line.

I urge people to bear in mind that folks in other countries DIE for a right we take for granted. I also like to remind people who do not vote, that they have no right to then complain about what the government does.
