My daughter is also special needs, so she will most likely remain eligible for Tricare as my dependent for the rest of my/her life.<br /><br />As to the rest of my fellow veterans in the situation you describe, maybe the failure of Obama Care will actually drive health costs DOWN or at least back to the level they were before the ACA? They have always made health insurance their best benefit. They also promote a great wellness program. Employee health care was good last year they were able to cut our major medical deductible in half. My daughter is covered thru her husband who works for a defense contractor. My older son is covered thru his employer and my youngest son is AD Marine Corps. <br /><br />So, so far so good.
