Actually no. I'd rather the terrorist groups have some conventional arms. A tank is VERY easy for us to spot, track, and eliminate if/when necessary.

The problem is the suicidal extremists more than the tanks :(

No because we have Drones that are improving and becoming more lethal each year on the battlefields.
