I think its a good idea, because we need to bring back the pride and desire for positions like this. The first impression for AIT students needs to be a true professional in the field of their choosing. One thing that must change is deeper background check and screening process. Not anyone can be a good instructor, just like not any NCO can be a good recruiter. Knowledge and experience is only a portion of the desired skills in an instructor. Being adaptive to change and being able to convey your experiences in a positive and mature way are in higher demand. I also think they need to bring back the AIT Drill Sergeant, but that&#39;s another topic.
