is 12C a 12C or is it 21C ? and is 55B a 55B or is it 89B ?

A 12C is a 12C went to 21C for a few years and back to 12C a 55B went to 89B some years back.

The CMF's change every so often. However, I don't know why.

They are always looking for ways to consolidate or eliminate certain MOSs, so this is similar to what they did in the late 80s as well with MOSs that were being combined from the Vietnam era as well.

55B's are now 89A's and 89B's. The MOS split into distinct specialties..
