Who remembers this Army Recruiting video from 1981? It was the catch phrase of Be All you Can Be, but showed everyone a glimpse of what we could get done by 9 am. How the times have changed. This is the ad that was playing when I enlisted. Now that I've dated myself. Find your branches ad that was airing when you enlisted on you tube. Salutes

I remember that one, we all wondered where they found the friendly 1SG who didnt care if you were sitting around in a cluster or yell spread out one grenade will kill you all. , and didnt we get more dumb s^&* done by 9am than most people did all day.
I did like the Be All That You Can Be campaign.

What they forgot to include in that video is that for an 0900 Drop Time fist manifest was at like midnight then pre jump then ride to green ramp then parachute issue, rigging, JMPI then wait for aircraft to either warm up or sometimes to arrive and then board aircraft, fly like a 20 to thirty minute race track, jump commands, jump and by God have that coffee waiting for the first shirt when he reaches the assembly area. Bull shit!!! Most First Sergeants were either first or last to the assembly area and no time for coffee until all personnel and senisitive items accounted for.
