I currently have a volunteer packet put together. I'll be looking for a good spot to recruit out of, I need a break from deployments (5 in 11 years). Is this a recommended move?

I recruited in Atlantic City, NJ, 2010-2013. The job was horrible and stressful and I saw the bottom of the barrel when it comes to NCOs. But I'm glad I did it. I still talk to most of my recruits, none of them hate me. I recommend it, but be ready for some hard times. Hahahaha

I was only in recruiting for 22 years...well only 22 years in Army Recruiting. How can I help you? Is it a stressful job, yes it can be. Is it difficult, not really. You really know what you need to do, just do it. When in doubt, ask them to join.

I was field recruiter in Muscatine, IA (91-94) and Cedar Falls, IA (95-99) Health Care recruiter OKC (99-02), Guidance Counselor Des Moines MEPS (02-08) and finished as USAR OPS-NCOIC in the Columbus RBN.
