SFC Aaron G. 382570 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>After I return from my current deployment, I am considering a transfer (TPU-TPU) into a Training BN as a MP Instructor (BMPC, WLC, ALC). Since I have really only been in one unit up to this point in my military career, I am looking for a new experience and career progression. <br /><br />What are some differences between a traditional TPU and the Training BN? How do battle assemblies work? The BN I would be assigned to - if I chose to transfer - is nine hours away. I have no problem with the travel. I have been told that if there are enough personnel in a certain geographical location, you can drill together closer to your HOR. How do ATs work? <br /><br />Basically, I&#39;m just needing some general information in the differences and what the advantages to being in this type of unit are. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Your AT will consist of you going somewhere to be an instructor for 2-3 weeks. As far as drills go I have no idea what instructors would do. Train up on POI's and stuff like that.
