<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I don't understand why the Army didn't either A) go with Scorpion to being with instead of Muliticam or B) just issue Multicam to everyone. Option A) Scorpion was developed by the Army in conjunction with Crye Precision years ago. Meaning this pattern was available before Multicam. Crye just took the pattern, made a few minor changes, and patented it. How did we end up with UCP? Option B) It seems to me that at least a decent portion of the non-trainee segment of the services have Multicam. It's already easily available. Crye worked with the Army to be able to provide uniforms and gear with 1% the cost of UCP.
