Army will struggle all year under new Head Coach Jeff Monken, but will upset Navy in December. Army has been looking forward to this game since…too long for the current batch of cadets to remember…and they will have Coach Monken’s system down and perfected by the Army Navy game. While Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium has never been good to the Black Knights, it is this year!
It will be a close, hard fought defensive game with Army pulling it out in the end, and the beginning of the Army rebalancing the scales in the Army/Navy rivalry.

Until the Army loosens up its weight standards for it's football players, the Navy will continue to win the series. The game won't be a blowout due to the fact that the Mids rely on the run so heavily, 24-3 final score. The Air Force game will be more competitive with their offensive scheme.

Gee Petty Officer Dronzin, I am not sure how to respond to this question. However, I think that Navy will dominate (as usual in recent history). In the 114 meetings since 1890, Navy has, well here - Navy (58–49–7).

Navy, but I am going to give Army at least 2 touchdowns.

I love the Army. I really do. West Point has proven to produce leaders that are unparralleled by most institutions. However, I think we could focus a little more on winning a football game or two. Pride does a lot for esprit de corps.

I just learned that Navy is bring back two ringers from the 1929 Middie team. John Wayne and his friend Ward Bond both played Midshipmen in the film Salute which was released September 1, 1929 and they will be playing for Navy this year at the Navy-Army Game only.

September 1, 1929 ~ "Salute (1929 film)" was released to movie theaters 85 years ago today. West Point Cadet John and Annapolis Midshipman Frank focus their fraternal rivalry on the big Army-Navy football game. John Wayne and his friend Ward Bond both played Midshipmen in this film. The U.S. Naval Academy was the filming location. This was Fox's biggest box office hit of 1929.
