But this is what makes the military so good we all come different walks of life and serve in different branches. Of course especially at the VFW Post while hanging around peers we all rib eachother about branch of service. But when it boils down we all served under the same flag and when needed worked together as joint branch missions. I am fortunate to belong to the VFW we have all the branches covered majority of my post is Navy vets. But I respect their service no matter branch. This is just uncalled for and plain ol' wrong. My wife and my father are both retired Air Force while I was a Marine. I grew up in Colorado Springs home of the Air Force Academy and Fort Carson, United States Army. I would say it is great having good fun rivalries; such as in football. Bronco fans hate the Raiders and vice versa. The difference here was tragic destroying many lives through an act that neither branch of the military would condone. I am thankful for all the Jarheads, Squids, Dogface, and Fly Boys our veterans and their sacrifices. Although the article did not say, Horn was most likely over the legal limit as well. This article has no direct bearing on the military whatsoever. In summary it was two intoxicated idiots, both with violent histories, arguing, once again, until one of them was killed by the other. The argument could have probably been about anything however, this time it was Army vs. Marines.
