The rivalry between the brances is a time honored one. However, no matter how much I may joke about the dog faces, Good Humor men, or bus drivers, we all took the same oath and if push comes to shove I will will have any one of your backs if you need me.

The rivalry only serves to keep moral up and show pride in your org, unit, group, squad or what have you.

That is so true. We are family. Mabe be a dysfuncional one be we are. We all have a mission to complete. We all have a different role to play in that mission. And with out each other the mission will not be completed. I have respect for any person who took the oath and served honorably.

Like brothers in the family who razz each other, but they are FAMILY! Let someone outside the family give someone crap and you have to deal with the whole family. This was such BS here. SMH.

Let's face it, this murder probably would have happened if they were arguing about what figure they can see in a puffy cloud up in the sky. I rag on all the other services every chance I get.

But I have learned over the years that pogues and heroes can wear the same uniforms. It's the man in the uniform that matters. Not the uniform on the man!!

When ever I meet another Veteran, regardless of service. I embrace their friendship and camaraderie. Fore that is what we have in common. Service.
