But, it got too goofy and unrealistic... and we eventually stopped... No idea how it ended... I will say that they fixed some of the uniform issues after the first season. Is it perfect? No, of course not. But it does try to bring to life some issues our Army and our military families face. And if it fosters discussion and personal/professional growth as people discuss the issues, I wouldn't call that a loss. I watched every episode of The Unit and thought it was great other than the home scenes with the wives. I figured Army Wives was probably going to be only the worst parts of The Unit. We eventually lost interest as the storyline became too predictable, though we enjoyed it for the most part despite the obvious regulation flaws. They did get better about the uniforms, and technical stuff, but it was still fake as hell. I know it's supposed to be a "woman's" show, but I bet you some guys secretly like it. It's nice that at least the Army and it's families are getting some kind of recognition.
