As a 92F in training, what are my chances of getting stationed at Fort Bragg with my husband?

Due to a mistake they had made on my first original marriage certificate we haven't been able to enroll into the Married Couples program. I start my in-processing tomorrow, I just got reclassed to this MOS.

Refresh my memory what is a 92F.
Fort Bragg is and awesome place to be stationed, me and my wife were there for three years before we went to Alaska. Depending on what that mos is you will be more than likely able to get stationed there.

Size of an installation doesn't mean anything. Strength of your MOS at the particular installation at your grade does. Have you called the Quartermaster Branch yet? I recommend you make that phone call as soon as possible so they can assist you in getting your MACP situation taken care of. You have good folks up there in the QM Branch, give them a chance to help you. If you need a contact number send me a message.

Unless you get enrolled in that program, there is no guarantee where you will be stationed. You need to work on your enrollment in MCP as well as update your ASK preferences, putting Bragg as your top choice. There are many positions for your MOS on every installation. The army will put you wherever they need you without that program.

Call your PDNCO ("Branch Manager"), ensure you're in the "Couples Program" with spouse, and I'd say your chances are good from my foxhole, but I'm not a Quartermaster. Lots of units at "The Center of the Universe" where you could go. Best of luck

wings would help......I got orders for permanent duty at ft Lee.....I was like nope! sign me up for Airborne! went to bragg as a 92F. never did my MOS once! ended up re classing to 13R

Please know that along with the MACP packet, you also need to submit a DA 4187 requesting Joint Domicile. These are two separate actions.

92F's are one of the few MOS's that can be assigned anywhere. Everyone needs fuel.

There is one way to get around it . Maybe not legal ( wasn't back then either but it happened ) just sign in to I think it's 19th reception battalion ( It's been 19 years) and in process. It will still your assigned duty station and mess up the whole base but I've heard this happen before
