Your military service time is separate and cannot be transferred to military service. Now if you separate from the military or go to the reserves/guard then you can buy back your active duty time towards your civilian retirement and I would strongly suggest you do so as it’s cheap to do compared the amount of credit you get towards your civilian federal service time.
