As a former Marine infantryman, what Army publications or books I should have to get me up with the different names and acronyms? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/as-a-former-marine-infantryman-what-army-publications-or-books-i-should-have-to-get-me-up-with-the-different-names-and-acronyms

I was in the Marines for 9 years as an infantryman and just joined the Amry as an infantryman about 5 months ago. While I was in the Marines, publications and tactics of fire team, squad, small unit and countless other tactics was inbeded in my head and still know very well. As I started with the Army, I noticed that a lot of similarities, but with different names and acronyms. I was wondering, from infantry community, if there are any publications or books I should have to get me up with the terms. I am at Ft.Bliss right now, but will most likely be going to the 82nd in the summer time and I want to be prepared when i get there. I had a great tour in the Corps. I joined the Army and never looked back after 29 years as an Enlisted Soldier, NCO, Officer and U.S. Army Reserve Chaplain. I served in all three areas of the Army. I served in the Regular Army, Army National Guard and Retired in the U.S. Army Reserve. In my personal opinion, I don’t believe that I would have been given the many opportunities that I had in the U.S. Army vs the U.S. Marine Corps. Good Luck. The first part, the doctrine, has been pointed out. Ranger Handbook and FMs will give you the baseline for Infantry across the Army. Infantry is basically the same whether it's Army or Marines.
The second part, acronyms and terminology comes down to the units. I've worked in SF, Ranger, Stryker, Mech, and Airborne Infantry and every single one of them used different terms and organization. Acronyms will change every time you PCS. The best place to find the local lingo is in the SOPs. Whether your platoon has an SOP, or the battalion or Brigade has a TACSOP, that's where you'll find all the adaptations from the baseline doctrine you're familiar with. A lot of units don't have TACSOPs or they're outdated, so once you become a platoon Sergeant you may end up writing one for your Platoon or Battalion.
Once you go to the 82nd you'll also need to learn the Airborne SOP. Once you become a Jumpmaster there you'll need a printed out version when you start pulling duties on a JOAX, which is a brigade size Airborne operation. In the first few months I was in the Army, learning the new jargon and acronyms was hard to keep up with. When I arrived at my platoon they gave me a DRF packing list and a run down of what was expected of me and how they wanted things done.
