As a National Guard Officer marrying an AD enlisted Marine, what can I expect as far as duty stations and housing?

I am marrying an E4 Marine in May and will be an 'at camp commission' in the summer. What can I expect as far as duty stations and housing? Are there any specific forms that follow a timeline, such as DEERS, on base housing, etc? I just want to ensure there is the least amount of chaos in the upcoming year.

Don't do base housing, Marines are the worst ones as far as trying to be invasive to your personal life. From experience, it's worth getting an apartment in town

Duty stations in the Marines are limited. Camp Lejeune, Camp Pendleton, 29 Palms, and Okinawa are some of the main ones. There are some smaller ones here and there. The housing situation, like in the Army, varies from post to post.

SPC (Join to see) Congratulations on your upcoming marriage to a Marine. Have you talked to a National Guard career counselor?
