As a prior service Marine CPL, what are the chances of me getting 11B instead of 11C in OSUT?

in the reserves slim to none I don't know about active. But I know with the national guard if they have slots you can choose your MOS.

Very high. Most 11x become 11b. There were no 11c grads during my cycle

It all depends on what they need during the cycle. An entire platoon of guys in my company was made 11C while the rest of us went Bravo.

I went through AIT Infantry at Fort Polk in June 1967. . During the training cycle some were selected to train as 11C. I earned the secondary MOS 11C at Fort Campbell with the 101st. My primary MOS was 11B. Did have a secondary MOS of 95B (MP) at one time. But with the 101st that was replaced with 11C. I guess you could say my 95B MOS was now my third MOS. From What I understand now is that 81MM are now at what we called Combat Support Company which back in my time in the Army had the 4,2 Mortars, and 81MM were at company level.

Most 11X become 11B. Unless things have changed since I retired an 11C can revert to 11B but an 11B wanting to be a 11C needs to go back to out.
