You can certainly fill out a Dream Sheet, but the Army will more than likely send you where they need you. Unless you can wrangle it into your contract you have guaranteed choice of assignment. You just have to get in good with HR &amp; get them to cough up where E4 slots are needed and you can pick form those 1LT Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 12 Jan 2018 23:20:31 -0500 2018-01-12T23:20:31-05:00 Response by SFC Joseph Weber made Jan 12 at 2018 11:39 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/as-a-prior-service-reservist-who-is-going-active-how-much-choice-do-i-have-in-where-i-go-as-an-e4?n=3252121&urlhash=3252121 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When I was a recruiter we got a list from the MEPs. Usually two or three stateside and one overseas. Depends on your MOS. Not even the company grade officers can pick their assignment unless it&#39;s a compassionate reassignment. Put in your wishlist and hope for the best. You can volunteer for a hardship deployment and ask for the assignment you want when you return. That has worked for many service members. I was given choice of a duty station (IAW the needs of the Army) or a new MOS, no choice of duty station.
