As a Military Social Work Enthusiast interested in joining the US Army with a potential permanent resident status - can i qualify to join the Army SWIP after my MSW degree?

If Number 1 is not feasible, what are my options? Please advise.

You won't be able to commission until you are a citizen. Until then you can enlist as long as you're a legal resident.

SFC Private RallyPoint Member is right on point. You need to be a US Citizen n order to become a Commissioned Officer. That requirement is not applicable for enlisting in the service. If your interests is to serve, then I suggest to get your SW state license, enlist in a related field and as soon as you get your citizenship, then apply for a direct commission. for further information, contact the Army Medical Recruiting Brigade.

No, you have to be an officer for the program and you have to be a citizen to be an officer
