As a Veteran or SM, are you tired of civilians or the media saying how you feel about any particular issue for their own benefit?

We've all seen it, a national media group, or someone at an event with a sign screaming stop disrespecting the Vets, about a matter that you do not actually care about, or maybe you oppose their view. As a community we share many similar views, but as time moves on and generational difference continue to change, some of the values are changing. How are we facing this as a community, and why are we not more upset that we are silenced from speaking for ourselves?
