For example, in order to enroll in the VA system, I was told I had to enroll into DERS in order to gain access to another VA database. As a veteran, I am in DEERS but I had to register anyway by sending them a copy of my DD214. I had tried calling to ask questions, but no one would ever call me back. All total, I spent 40 hours just registering in a database that I am in, in order to register for another database that I needed to be in. Many veterans give up, because it is not worth the hassle.

http://www.military.com/benefits/tricare/defense-enrollment-eligibility-reporting-system-deers.html

Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS)

DEERS is a computerized database of military sponsors, families and others worldwide who are entitled to TRICARE benefits.

Sgt Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 10 Mar 2017 20:26:04 -0500 2017-03-10T20:26:04-05:00 Response by SSG Jessica Bautista made Mar 10 at 2017 9:39 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/as-a-veterans-resources-blogger-what-topic-would-you-suggest-i-cover-more?n=2410030&urlhash=2410030

VA vocational rehab.
