Information on the easiest way to gain access to the VA. For example, in order to enroll in the VA system, I was told I had to enroll into DERS in order to gain access to another VA database. As a veteran, I am in DEERS but I had to register anyway by sending them a copy of my DD214. I had tried calling to ask questions, but no one would ever call me back. All total, I spent 40 hours just registering in a database that I am in, in order to register for another database that I needed to be in. Many veterans give up, because it is not worth the hassle.

The pension claims process. As someone who spent a long time waiting to get what was in essence a slam-dunk case and pension approved I was infuriated by the way the VA dragged their feet.
