I will field those questions, first, but not in the written order.
3: I enlisted while in my junior HS year and spent my eighteenth birthday in BASIC, aka, Learning and earning my Secondary education, sorta OJT in a non-partisan profession.
1: After receiving my discharge, I went to work in a brick-making plant. I progressed on to a trade school that was evolving into a state school. From there, I went forward to gain a degree in the Sciences, as an Electronics Engineer.
2: I see the basic difference between Arts to Science, much as Thomas Edison and others have, "“Genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration." and "Necessity is the Mother of Invention.".

I watched a show on PB about life in the early 1900’s. Most homes were heated by coal or wood. Wood or coal Stoves were common. A lot of people washed clothes over a wood/coal stove. Today life is much easier because of science and technology.

And, no one seems to have ever advanced our ways of life with a crayon, have they?

Actually, I respect the "attendance for a degree" attitude, yet too many show up to "work" and expect "medal(s)" for participation.
