My Grandfather, Gerry Millar, was either a waist gunner or tail gunner and received a PH when he was shot down over the Pacific. My family is fortunate enough to have a great deal of his memorabilia and we were recently contacted by the only other surviving crew member, a co-pilot, that is writing a book about their missions and even has photos and video of the crew before/after the rescue!
