Today's "picture" is a video (2:35) of the total lunar eclipse from July 2018. It includes an animation of the moon sliding into and out of the Earth's shadow. Right now, the weather is cloudy in Charlotte but should be clear when tonight's eclipse begins at 9:36PM EST.
