Where can I find which ribbons/awards I have been approved for?

Where can i go specifically to see what ribbons/awards i can put onto my ASUs? After switching to the srb Im kinda lost on where exactly it says all that info at, so is there a specific part on there that says that?

You can find your awards by going onto IPPS-A (TAM Soldier Workcenter -> My Profile -> Awards). Alternatively they should all be located on iPERMS.

There is what is in the system, and then there is what you have earned.

You are approaching the rank where you can't be dependent (actually that rank starts at PV1) on the system to officially track everything you have earned.

This didn't really hit me until I was a 1LT looking at my CPT board. I was prior enlisted, and basically, noting hit my Record Brief since I was as SPC, and there was SGT promotion, a deployment, and several awards and schools that were not on there and I was looking at getting it clean for the CPT board. I had a great new S1 shop where I was during this time. So I was very lucky .

If you think you earned it, and can show it in the reg, and show it with your orders, time in service, etc... or you were given an award down range and it never hit the system you need to submit that stuff to get it in the system.

IPPS-A is new and placing the responsibility in the laps of the soldiers. This is harder for the new guys, but in the long run places much more POWER in the tracking of our careers in our laps.

ERB. If it's not there, you can't wear it. Make sure not to forget to contact old units to see if they got any awards back dated to time you were there.
