But we Army folks deseratly need the A-10&#39;s close air support ability exponentially more than you need another fast, sexy, tech stuffed, expensive jet. <br /><br />I have a simple solution to the decades long debate; instead of getting ride of the A-10; lets get ride of the restriction of the US Army owening/operating tacticle fixed wing. I hear a lot of complaints all of the time and very often nobody offers solutions to the problems, just complaints. I am a strong supporter of the A10s and believe that anything that we can do to keep them in our arsenal would make us that much stronger as a country.
