Their experiences and backrounds were widely varied from an island hopping former Marine to a member of the Lithuanian resistance, a veteran of the Philippine Scouts, and a former officer who was part of Merrill's Marrauders of the Burma Campaign. We guarded nukes and nuclear subs.
