Seriously I don't mind walking from the parking lot in unless it happened to be raining, snowing, sleeting...then you know I'd rather not end up ruining all the preparation look. Another thing is I don't like or want to stand around alone at the entrance while I'm waiting for my escort to park the car and walk in. That's just me.
