SSG Jeffrey Monk Not bitter at all. Truth be told, I made the initial remark sort of “tongue in cheek” over two years ago. In retrospect, I should have articulated my thoughts a little better. I was trying to convey that in the big scheme of things, this is really a minor issue that could be solved at the lowest level. Clearly an NCO matter.
In my latter comment, I was merely disengaging from an argument with the gentleman who took exception to my earlier remark.

LTC Mark Ensign - Well sir I thank you for the heads up. You are very correct that it can sometimes be hard to see the sarcasm or tongue in cheek comments. You are right in the situation should have been taken care of at the NCO level. Unfortunately not all NCO's are created equal nor every chain of command.
